What we’ve been up to…

This past weekend we were honored to be a part of the 3rd annual Pastoral Artisan Producer Festival held at the Chicago French Market. Each year, Pastoral brings together almost 70 of their artisan producers to show off their products to over 10,000 passionate Chicago foodies. As always, we had a wonderful time. We couldn’t pick a better crowd to spend a Saturday with and we’re already looking forward to next year.

On the same day, the other half of our team was busy sampling our syrups at the Willy Street Co-Op Mocktail Event to celebrate Earth Week in Madison! We teamed up with NessAlla Kombucha and enjoyed a beautiful day drinking mocktails and eating tamales by Mamasita’s Tamales from Milwaukee. A big thank-you to everyone who came out to both events!

Quince & Apple Cocktails

No matter which spirit you choose, whether it’s bourbon, brandy, or whiskey, the Old Fashioned is Wisconsin’s state cocktail. We love the way our Tart Cherry Grenadine complements the orange, bitters, and caramel notes of this famed cocktail. Here’s our favorite twist on the classic recipe for you to enjoy!

Wisconsin Old Fashioned
2 oz white whiskey
1 oz orange juice
1 oz Quince & Apple Grenadine
2 dashes of bitters
Club soda

Stir orange juice, grenadine, and bitters in the bottom of a glass. Add ice and top with white whiskey and club soda to taste. Garnish with orange peel and cherries.
