This summer, we branched out to Minneapolis, and I think we landed in the best store there! In fact, I was poking around on their website today, and discovered that they recently won both the Best Cheese Shop and the Best Wine Shop awards. That is impressive, both in one store!
So we were pretty excited when France 44 started using our Pear with Honey and Ginger on their lunch menu. It’s a prosciutto and Taleggio sandwich, accented with our Pear preserve. Wow, that sounds awesome. We had never thought of using Taleggio with the Pear, but it makes sense. Similar to Brie, it’s a rich cheese that becomes pungent and soft when aged.
We hope to make a visit to the Twin Cities next year and we’ll definitely be sampling this sandwich on arrival.
