We are hiring to grow our small, collaborative team. We make all our products by hand. We operate by our values which include doing a great job, working together as a team, and inclusiveness.

This position will manage the administrative and customer support tasks of the business, including customer service, order management, communication and coordination with the rest of the team, and a broad array of general administrative tasks in HR, sales, and general admin. This position will also stay connected to the production team by working in areas of lighter-duty production throughout the week, like help with shipping and labeling.


Flexibility and scheduling:

We would like this position to be in person at least half time so that the person in the role has a strong connection to the rest of the team and a good understanding of production workflows. The order fulfillment email needs to be managed throughout the day, so it is important that the person is generally available 9-5, but there is flexibility within those hours, e.g., the person does not need to be available every hour between 9-5 and can do some early morning or later evening hours if desired.


Characteristics we’re looking for:

+ Warm, friendly and calm, able to communicate well with a variety of people and serve as a hub of information flows

+ Excellent communicator, both written and in-person

+ Comfortable with ambiguity, flexible/able to manage change, and able to problem-solve independently

+ Very organized and detail oriented, can create work systems, stay on top of multiple email addresses and make sure things don’t drop through the cracks

+ Comfortable with computer programs like Excel, cloud-based software like a customer management tool, and learning software like an inventory management system

+ Strong personal values, including taking health and safety seriously and doing the right thing


Job details:

+full time (40 hours)

+flexible and part-remote hours, but centered in M-F 9-5 time frame

+$15-17/hr based on experience

+paid sick leave and PTO are offered

+We are taking COVID seriously. We have implemented recommended protective measures and are updating them on an ongoing basis, with input from our production team. All of our staff is vaccinated and we are only hiring applicants who are fully vaccinated. Masks are required because of the current local mandate.
