We handcraft artisan preserves up here in Madison, WI. And when we say handcrafted, we mean we’re actually in the kitchen slicing, dicing and caramelizing until all hours of the night. We taste and tweak every pot to ensure each batch is up to our exacting standards. This artisan-centered approach allows us to always use the highest quality fresh produce, adjusting for the differences in season and variety. Enjoy!
Chow.com, a national food blog, files us under “stuff we want to eat right now” and TastingTable.com says, “These not-too-sugary jams just may become the secret ingredient in your home cooking.” Most importantly, our customers tell us they love our preserves and keep coming back for more!
Our preserves are the perfect pairing to Wisconsin’s best artisanal cheese. Fig complements Gouda, Chevre, or a mellow bleu, Marmalade counterpoints a sharp Asiago, and Pear is luscious with a triple-creme Brie. Shallot is a natural with meats, veggies and Malbecs. Or pair with a strong bleu or salty Parmesan. Also eat with breakfast pastries, spread on sandwiches, drizzled over ice cream and mixed into yogurt. Or just dig in with a spoon. More ideas
Happy 2013, everyone!
We made it through another crazy holiday season and want to thank you all for supporting us and making every day exciting.
Quince & Apple now has three awesome year-round employees! The first month of the new year has been filled with days of planning and brainstorming with our team. We have some fun new ideas for 2013 – teaming up with other great artisans, creating new gift boxes, and definitely new syrup flavors.
Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is already coming up and you better believe we have something special for it! Order a bottle of Tart Cherry Grenadine on our website through February 18th and you’ll get a cute little booklet containing two romantic cocktail recipes and a free bag of our favorite tumbled almonds by Gail Ambrosius. Yes, free! Why? Because we love you and we love chocolate.
Distill America
We can’t thank you enough for your support of Q&A in 2012 and we want to stay connected in 2013. Keep an eye out this year for more updates on our website, a monthly newsletter, and fun events at our favorite local places. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on where you can find us on the menu and when we’ll be out and about sampling our preserves and syrups. And email hidden; JavaScript is required - we love to hear about new recipes, drinks, and other suggestions. For example, in response to your requests, we’ll be adding an extremely delicious gluten-free option from Potter’s Crackers to our gift boxes soon.
Thanks again for being great. Cheers to the new year!
